Location: Hyderabad, India

The Hyderabad Metro Rail Project is one of the largest Public-Private Partnership Project (PPP) in the Metro Sector. The Metro Network will cover a total distance of around 72 km across three corridors, transporting Hyderabad to the future. Connects major offices, retail and residential areas – The two tracks (up and down lines) pass through the arterial roads of the city.

Requirements

This metro station was constructed on one of active and heavily running traffic road. Challenge for the project was to create solution for hanging working platform to carry out finishing work at stations. There was no possibility of blocking the road traffic even during night hours due to busy traffic condition. L&T is the major contractor for this project.

Customer's benefit

PERI UP scaffolding solution was preassembled at location and lifted during night hours. Due to unique solution of PERI UP, erection was completed in one-hour time. The solution helped customer to execute finishing work without blocking the running traffic.

PERI solution

PERI UP Hanging Working Platform was supplied to this project. PERI UP is a flexible and lightweight system that can be adopted for multiple applications. PERI provided solution in such a way that construction was carried out above busy road without blocking traffic.
