Location: India, India

Government of Telangana has come up with a lot of irrigation project. Kaleshwaram dam is one such project to ease out water issues for the people of Telangana. It is a non overflow dam having walls at inclination of 30 degrees down stream side.  

Requirements

The challenge for the project was to cast wall with more than 50 m height and 90 m length with inclination of 30 degrees.

PERI provided complete solution for the project. With its engineering and site supervision support, all challenges at site are well addressed. PERI solutions also ensured ease of handling and timely completion of the project.    

PERI solution

PERI provided solution with SCS climbing system for the project. The solution was offered without any tie and the bracket were acting as working platform for rebar fixing and formwork erection and striking. The solution does not need dismentaling of wall formwork and SCS while lifting. PERI supplied 40 units of SCS and more than 350 m² VARIO wall formwork for the project.
