Project Information
Requirements
The Trogon Twin Towers project presented unique construction requirements that necessitated a tailored approach. The client needed a comprehensive solution for slabs, walls, and columns, with a specific emphasis on replacing conventional formwork with a more efficient panel-based system for smaller slab grids.
Additionally, there was a clear need to effectively manage slabs that featured beam bottoms while adhering to strict design specifications, including a typical floor-to-floor height of 3.2 meters and a slab thickness of 150 mm.
Solutions
PERI provided a robust suite of solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of the Trogon Twin Towers. For the construction of columns and shear walls, the HANDSET Alpha formwork system was implemented, ensuring strong support throughout the structure.
To address the slabs, PERI utilized the GRIDFLEX system combined with MULTIFLEX, facilitating efficient casting that aligned with the project’s height and thickness specifications. Additionally, for the beam bottoms, MULTIFLEX was utilized with props and the PERI UP MI shoring system, effectively accommodating varying depths.

It’s almost been 15 years since we have been using PERI’s products and services. For this special Twin tower project, we required modular formwork system for slabs, walls and columns that is durable, helps to increase our productivity and decrease our cycle time. PERI’s GRIDFLEX system for Slab & Handset Alpha for walls and columns perfectly matches our requirements. Not only we were able to achieve a cycle time of 12 days but also the system uses a prop arrangement such that it helped us in saving costs.
